Who we are

Israel's first venture platform for aerospace medicine, built in the US

IAsMV focuses on Israel's aerospace and terrestrial space-health domain, where dual-use innovation built for space also advances medicine on Earth. We support cutting-edge startups and partner with investors to fund them. Through a strategic collaboration with the Israel Aerospace Medical Association (IAsMA), a leading Israeli nonprofit, we tap curated innovation pipelines and talent in one of the world's most dynamic biomedical hubs. Investors can co-create and co-own high-potential startups through a structured process with legal compliance, clear equity terms, and de-risked early-stage entry.

The opportunity

World-class talent, no clear path to venture

Israel's scientific and medical talent is among the best in the world, yet there is no structured pipeline to turn its aerospace medicine expertise into scalable startups. Promising ideas stall, intellectual property goes unbuilt, and leadership in one of the most promising frontiers in health goes uncaptured.

IAsMV exists to close that gap. We turn a world-class talent and research base into dual-use ventures, health innovation built for extreme environments that also delivers value back on Earth, and we give investors a clear, mission-aligned way in.

What we offer

Support at every stage

From concept to construction, we bring the expertise, guidance, and network to move ideas forward.

Medical and Scientific Review

For angel investors, VCs, and startups. We bring the clinical and research expertise to evaluate a company or idea and align it with real-world needs in aerospace medicine.

Strategic Guidance and Mentorship

Whether you are at concept stage, building a prototype, or ready to grow, we provide the support to move forward in this fast-evolving field.

Connections and Collaboration

We connect angel investors and venture capital with the right companies, researchers, clinicians, engineers, institutions, and industry partners in Israel and internationally.

How it works

A clear path for investors and founders

1

Bring the opportunity

Founders share an idea or venture; investors share a thesis or mandate in aerospace and space health.

2

We review and align

Our team runs medical and scientific feasibility and shapes the opportunity around real-world needs.

3

We connect and structure

We introduce the right people and set clear, compliant equity terms that de-risk early-stage entry.

4

We build together

Co-create and co-own high-potential startups, supported from concept to construction.

One route in action

Investor-backed challenges

One of the ways we build: an investor brings capital and a real problem to solve into IAsMV. We structure the challenge, and through our partnership IAsMA can run a nationwide hackathon that surfaces the strongest teams and solutions from across the country. The most promising result is then developed and funded as a venture. This is one route among several, not every venture begins as a challenge.

Focus areas

Where aerospace medicine meets opportunity

Aerospace medicine is multidisciplinary by definition. It is not just about doctors or astronauts. It is about the systems, tools, and knowledge that keep humans healthy and high-functioning in extreme environments.

If you invest in this space, build medical technology, or research how the body performs under pressure, you already belong in this ecosystem. Wherever you sit across these areas, there is a place for you here, and we would like to help you build what comes next.

Human Performance

Physiology, safety, and performance in extreme environments.

Biotechnology

Microgravity biotech, drug development, and life sciences.

Health Technology

Devices, diagnostics, and digital health for space and remote care.

Artificial Intelligence

AI-driven monitoring, decision support, and automation.

Life Support and Pharma

Countermeasures, therapeutics, and orbital manufacturing.

Exploration Tech

Tools that expand the boundaries of human exploration.

Our network

Plugged into a real ecosystem

Our strength is our connections across the US and Israel: nonprofits, researchers, clinicians, engineers, and industry.

Strategic partner

Israel Aerospace Medical Association (IAsMA)

IAsMA is a leading Israeli nonprofit advancing aerospace medicine through education, research, and innovation. It is strictly non-commercial and holds no equity in any company. Our partnership gives us access to curated innovation pipelines and talent.

Ecosystem collaboration

IAsMA and SpacePharma

IAsMA collaborates with SpacePharma to advance space-based drug manufacturing, connecting Israeli researchers with orbital testing and funding pipelines through automated lab-on-a-chip systems in microgravity.

Corporate giving

Sustaining Israeli nonprofit impact

IAsMV supports Israeli nonprofits in the aerospace medical field. To strengthen this alignment, IAsMV commits a portion of its annual earnings back to IAsMA and aligned nonprofits as a philanthropic contribution. The stronger these nonprofits become, the more robust the talent pipeline, elevating the quality of Israeli ideas and startups.
